Mommy Mode

When your average female finds out she is pregnant mommy mode kicks in the second she is told she's expecting. That being said I'd like to pose a question to you. Does becoming a parent mean you have to give up on or completely change the goals and dreams you had for yourself? I don't think now that i'm an expecting mom for the first time that i have to change of give up on the dreams i have for myself.

This is certainly unrelated, but a friend of mine was speaking with me yesterday about awesome acrylic sign companys. I told him that I thought Interiortech looked promising but he's insisting on more research. I was thinking I'd ask you, my readers, if you have any experience with them. Take a look at their site at https://interiortech.com and tell me your opinion. Alright, returning to the post.

My belief is that your dreams and goals don't need to change or disappear, they just expand further when you become a parent. I refuse to give up on my dreams not just for my sake but for the sake of my unborn child. If i give up on my dreams what kind of example will that set for my child? I don't want my baby growing up feeling like it's their fault i didn't get my masters, nor do i want them growing up thinking that hard work and perseverance accomplishes nothing.

So once my baby is born and it's a feasible option again i plan to worm a job, be a mom, and go back to school and get my associates in nutritional sciences. Then i plan to take that degree a few step further by getting my Bachelors in nutritional sciences/exercise sciences and then taking that bachelors to a masters. I will do my best to set a good example for my child and provide for them everything they will ever need.

Just because you are a parent doesn't mean you must give up on or change your aspirations it just means they grow, the same way your heart does every time a new loved one enters your life.

The last thing before I go. Credit for this article would go to Verticval Thinking. They're a great web services online based in Ontario. The concept for this post came to me while conversing with Jonathan there. One thing led to another and we ended up discussing the niche in greater detail.
